Oil level problem of screw air compressor
In terms of oil level, there is usually a phenomenon that the oil volume decreases due to the drop of the oil level. The main reasons for this phenomenon are as follows:
- The filter element of the oil-gas separator is broken down.
- The upper oil return pipe or throttle valve is blocked.
- The head oil seal or oil guide pipe is damaged.
- The machine used for oil cooling is damaged.
- The head check valve is faulty.
- The oil temperature is too high.
- The copper pipe used for oil return does not meet the specifications or is not close to the tank wall.
The main repair methods for these reasons are:
- Reduce the pressure difference inside and outside the system, reduce the oil content in the air at the same time, and replace the filter element of the oil-gas separator.
- Clean or replace the oil return pipe.
- Clean up the oil mist on the shaft end.
- Separate the oil in the cooling water.
- Replace the sealing valve.
- Compress the oil content of the air.
- Cut the steel pipe into oblique openings.
In terms of oil temperature, the oil temperature is usually too high. The reasons for this problem and the maintenance methods are as follows:
- The temperature of the cooling water is too high. For this reason, the temperature of the inlet water can be adjusted. In addition, the filter can be cleaned to increase the amount of water inlet.
- The equipment for oil cooling is fouled. For this reason, the cooler can be disassembled and immersed in a special cleaning solution before cleaning.
- The amount of oil is too low. For this reason, the amount of oil can be replenished to ensure that the amount of oil is above the low oil level line.
- The oil quality is poor. For this reason, the oil can be replaced regularly to ensure the purity and cleanliness of the oil quality.
