The harm of high exhaust temperature of screw air compressor
The specific hazards are mainly reflected in the following aspects:
- The higher the exhaust temperature is, the larger the gap left by the compressor is to consider the expansion, and the efficiency of the compressor will decrease, resulting in the consumption of electric energy and the decrease of gas production.
- The oil quality deteriorates, and the lubrication effect of the unit is not ideal, which will increase the wear of the equipment and reduce the service life of the oil.
- The high exhaust temperature of the screw air compressor will increase the difficulty of oil separation, which will lead to an increase in the amount of oil entering the gas supply network, which will not only greatly increase the fuel consumption, but also reduce the quality of the gas supply, which may affect the quality of gas equipment.
- The long-term operation of the equipment at high exhaust temperature will reduce the service life.
- The ambient temperature rises, causing the suction temperature to rise. Under the condition of the same power consumption, every 3°C rise in the suction temperature will reduce the gas production by 1%.
There are two reasons for the high exhaust temperature of the screw air compressor. One is that the air compressor generates too much heat during operation, and the other is that the heat dissipation is not timely. Generally, the high temperature of the unit is mostly caused by poor heat dissipation. Of course, other factors are not ruled out, such as insufficient oil supply of the unit, high operating environment temperature, and failure of the temperature control valve. Although high-temperature faults are common, we must pay great attention to them. Regularly cleaning the radiator to ensure good ventilation in the operating environment can reduce the occurrence of high-temperature faults.
